This Week’s Theme: Clearing Your Mind
The Foundation — Begin your day with the Braucherei Morning cleansing and empowerment exercise (please view first post of the program ), followed by practicing this week’s theme — Clearing Your Mind — where each day you will practice replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. Think of something you love — and hold onto it as long as you can each and every time a negative, fearful, or worry filled thought crosses your mind. Don’t forget to use the Peace Prayer and the Star Throw in your daily activities (located in Day 2 of the program). When you have finished with this week’s theme exercises, move on to today’s fun activities!
Silver Notes — There was a little confusion yesterday on what rules what, so I have changed the heading slightly to make the planetary influences a bit clearer. Thank you so much for your comments on the program! The more you interact — the better the experience for all of us.
Today’s Challenges!
Magickal Challenge — Cauldron of Fire
For today’s challenge you will need slips of paper, a pen or pencil, a small cauldron or pot in which you can safely burn the paper, a lighter or matches and any herbs that you would like to burn in the cauldron along with the papers. I also add White Lightening (no kidding). We are going to release those issues that are bothering us most using the element of fire. On each slip of paper, write one thing that you wish to release. It can be anything — negative feelings, fears, worries, anger, hatred, sadness, nasty circumstances — one issue to each piece of paper, which means you could have a lot of papers! (Which also means you might want to burn your papers outside.) Take your time writing down what you wish to release. When you are finished with each issue — spit on the paper — yes, you read that right. And spit with meaning!!! Let ‘er rip! Like you are spitting out the whole mess!
In Braucherei some practitioners believe that sickness takes up residence in the body, mind and spirit due to stress. The stress feeds the sickness and the sickness grows into a pattern (entity) of its own. Which is why, weirdly enough, each person’s sickness is different from another in subtle ways. Yes, you can have a “cold”; but, your cold is a result of stresses related only to you. Some people call these entities demons. I don’t ascribe to calling them that because that takes us marching down the path of the Christian model, which falls short of what is really going on within you. Yes, the cold germs are there; however, you helped create your own cold and the severity of it has a great deal to do with your state of mind both past and present. Sometimes a practitioner of the art will make a loud, somewhat fearful sound to make the individual they are working on jump or jolt. This is done to shock the pattern of sickness, break it up by the vibration of sound, and force the person to expel it.
Worth contemplating, isn’t it?
So! In Braucherei, there are practitioners who demand that you agree to release the negativity within you by spitting it out and loudly proclaiming that you are releasing it. I’m one of them. “Get the hell out of me and stay out you poop-head!” actually works. Or, you could be graceful about it and say, “I release thee, O sickness, in the name of Perfection.”
You choose.
Personally, I like the first statement with as much zeal as you care to add.
What can you include in your banishing cauldron? Cleansing herbs of all kinds — depends on what you have on hand and what you like to use. I raise white sage, hyssop, basil, lemon verbena, and rosemary — so I usually add those herbs to my cauldron. I rub the dried herbs in my hands, filling my nostrils with their aroma, and petition them to work for me to banish the problem.
Once the papers and herbs are in the cauldron, set them on fire while chanting my Braucherei favorite:
“Evil be gone do not return — the horse has run off and the bridges are burned!” — 9 times as you watch the flames overtake the papers. The meaning of the chant is simple —
Evil be gone — that is a literal statement Do not return — another literal statement The horse has run off — that pattern which has held the sickness or problem And the bridges are burned — the pathway to you is destroyed; therefore, the sickness or problem can’t come back
Once the ashes are cold, dump them off your property and hold your hands under running water for at least a minute.
Physical Challenge — Super Clutter Day! Using the 3-minute techniques given on Day One, remove as much clutter as possible in your living or work environment. Clutter gathers negative energy — the more you get rid of it, the lighter the energy in the environment becomes. Make sure that all halls and walk ways are clear — no tripping or stumbling. Then, look around for those lumps of junk that are hiding — behind chairs, under beds, in corners. I realize we touched base with this on Day One — Today we are going to make sure we have removed ALL the clutter. Make those monsters go away!
Today’s Summary
Cast Your Cauldron of Fire Banishing Spell
Repeat the Peace Prayer and practice the Star Throw Blessing.
Clutter Day — Remove all clutter, particularly in open walking areas as well as junk crouching in a corner, hiding behind chairs, or squatting under beds.
Throw one thing away (most important task)
Don’t forget to add the coins to your Joy Jar!
Sleep well and see ya in the morning!
Peace with the Gods Peace with Nature Peace Within!
