Great Release Challenge — Day 27 — Thursday

Great Release Challenge – Day 27 — Thursday by Silver RavenWolf copyright 2012

You probably spent yesterday recovering from the holiday hustle.  That’s what I did.  Thanks to the assistance of my daughter and daughter-in-law, the tree is down, the ornaments are put away, the tree is packed up and all decorations carried back to the attic.  The guest bathroom has been deep cleaned, the floors washed, and the vacuuming finished.  My husband got in on the program, too, putting a light in the shed (you don’t understand, that stupid contractor’s light was rooted to the floor in my husband’s office since our program began because a Yule present was taking up all the space in the shed and we didn’t have enough room for the light) – and screwing a panel back into the wall (something else that remained unfinished from our move).  You know, sometimes a run-on sentence is useful – it can show your angst.  Of course, there is always that errant decoration that your eye passes over multiple times, as if it has blended into the scenery by an act of powerful magick, and you don’t see it until everything is packed away and there is no more room in the box.

Which, we should contemplate.  Such an item is seated in, plugged in, has become of a part of the fabric of the environment.  Consider how that happened?  The two items I missed are interesting to consider.  One is a large crystal topped with mistletoe that I hung as part of a Feng Shui adjustment in the kitchen.  The other is a silver stag candleholder that we used for several healing circles and ritual in the past month.  Both items were used in magick and prayer to either boost the environment or as a focus for several spiritual workings.  Should I keep them where they are, or should I pack them away?

What do you think?

When you put your holiday decorations away, don’t forget to cleanse and bless them, and take a moment to celebrate the good days and excellent experiences you had this past holiday season.  Release the bad, hold the good memories close.

Time to move on.

Your Challenge for Today:  Today is your day!  Our theme – your personal appearance – encompasses your physical body.  Treat yourself well today – take a bubble bath, get your nails done, maybe a hair cut…and while you’re at it, use your Sea of Potential Exercise to re-create a new you!  If you had all the money in the world, what clothing would you wear?  How would you like to style your hair?  How would you walk?  Talk?  Behave? – if you had everything you desire?  Use your Sea of Potential to visualize a new you!

Summary:

(1)   Do your Morning Braucherei Ritual and light your goal candle.

(2)   Do Today’s Mental/Spiritual New You visualization.

(3)   Do Today’s Physical Challenge of taking care of your body.

(4)   Honor the good memories of this past holiday season and let the bad ones go.

(5)   Get ready for tomorrow!

Tomorrow:  Pamper Your Pet

Give yourself One Gold Star if you remembered to do your morning ritual.  Two gold stars if you completed today’s challenges.  Three gold stars if you managed to put away all your holiday flair.  Four gold stars if you deep cleaned anything.  Five gold stars if you helped someone else straighten out their world after the holidays.

Peace with the Gods Peace with Nature Peace Within.

Silver
