A wire dish rack makes a terrific project holder!
Day 29 — 2011 Release Program — Thursday, 29 December

After today, we only have two more days to go! You are almost there! And…you are so awesome! For the last two days, we are going to concentrate on what you want to bring into your life. Start thinking today, very seriously, about your hopes, your dreams, and your private wishes.
Hettie’s Tip For Today: A wire dish rack makes a handy desk or craft room project holder. It can hold file folders, books, journals, specialty papers, notebooks, even skeins of yarn or other items. Notes, pins, and clips can be attached to the wire for decoration or for work. If you are a person that works or crafts all over the house, the basket is easy to carry from room to room.
Today’s Challenge: Catch-Up Day! Because we’re living life to its fullest, there’s bound to be a day or two that you just weren’t able to get to a challenge. Perhaps a family member came to visit, or you packed your holiday schedule to its fullest. Maybe you became ill, or were forced to deal with an unusual family drama. It could be that you took an unplanned trip, or spent more days on the road than you anticipated. This is the day to catch up on what you may have missed.
What if you completed all the challenges right on target? You are amazing! I’ll bet that while you were doing those challenges, you thought of something else you might like to change, rearrange, work on some more (like a big project that flows better for you by doing one thing at a time) or finish something completely. Or, perhaps you’ve been waiting to try something new and creative. Today is the day!
Your Gold Star Meditation
If you complete today’s challenge of Catch-Up! — you earn another gold star! This is number Twenty-Nine! Yippeeee! This star stands for Patience. Place it anywhere on your aura during today’s meditation.
My Release Diary
Today my husband helped me by doing all the laundry, running the vacuum, dragging two more bags out of the basement, and putting in a new shower head. Things are…strange around here. Remember I told you earlier that we’ve had our share of emotional stuff this release season? That’s because my youngest son moved out for the first time…all the way to California. The house feels…empty.
Many days of the challenge period for me were a whirlwind. Not only was I working on our challenges (yours and mine) and taking care of the dementia patient, we had the added storm of my son packing, arranging, and throwing in preparation for his trip across the country pulling a trailer of belongings. The program helped me focus on the future, to let go of the past, and to encourage him to go for his dreams. I really feel that the program took some of the anxiety out of the equation.
I found the morning prayers and the magickal work of tremendous help. Although this was a normal, expected, and natural-course-of-life release…it was still an emotional one. When I felt particularly sad I went down to the basement and filled bag upon bag to be carted out of the house in hopes that with the bags out the door, so my sadness would follow.
And I’ll be darned if it didn’t work!
